Already have a pouch size? Begin with the bag-fit Finder. Enter the opening width and full pouch length in the orientation shown. The opening must reach the sealing position; a sufficiently long seal bar does not establish that the rest of the package clears the chamber. A supported flat-pouch result still leaves filled height, headspace and material to check in the exact manual.
Still deciding on equipment? Use the sealer Finder with your workspace and upkeep requirements. An unknown maximum should prompt a manufacturer question. It should not become a positive fit merely because another model in the range accepts the pouch.
Compare equivalent usable packs
The bag-cost calculator is most useful after compatibility is settled. As an arithmetic example, a delivered $30 pack of 100 usable pouches costs 30 cents each; a $45 pack of 250 costs 18 cents each. That comparison is meaningful only if both packs suit your machine and the portions you actually seal. These are example inputs, not current product prices.
Take the per-pouch difference to the equipment break-even calculator. Test a lower monthly usage estimate as well as your expected one. If the savings do not exceed the maintenance allowance, the calculation cannot establish a payback period. Avoid counting food savings you have not measured as guaranteed machine savings.
Keep the evidence with your care notes
After purchase, use the maintenance log for the exact model, task performed and date. Refer back to its manual for the required procedure and interval. Export a backup before clearing browser data or changing devices; a local record is not a service reminder or a manufacturer maintenance schedule.
Bring measurements, not guesses
Fit tools need pouch opening width and total length, not just the seal-bar number. Measure available counter space with the lid open and allow the machine’s ventilation clearances. A positive flat-pouch screen is not a loaded-fit guarantee.
Cost tools use current delivered pack costs and expected usage. A low unit price does not help if the size or material is unsuitable. Maintenance entries stay in your browser; export a backup before clearing site data.
